Argentine Citizenship: Spanish language

Q: Do I need to know Spanish to acquire Argentine citizenship?.

A: YES. But it´s just a lower intermediate level. The exam is not difficult, you only need to be able to read and understand conversational Spanish. The exam consists of a 5 minute conversation with one of the law clerks in court.
