Q: I am married to an Argentine Citizen. How can I obtain the Argentine citizenship for myself?.
A: You are entitled to initiate in the Federal Court your citizenship through a judicial process (not administrative filing). You will be waived the requirement to live 2 years in the country prior to apply
BUT:
i. you will need to prove you know spanish, at a lower intermediate level.
ii. you will need to prove a source of income or financial support to maintain yourself.
iii. your physical presence is required in the courts about 5 times and you will need to declare an address in Buenos Aires. If you are not living in Argentina, you should expect that for a couple of months your presence will be required 4 or 5 times in total, which means you need to have some flexibility, ability and resources to travel.
